Cingjing farm, central

When your Airbnb listing says 'castle on a hill' and they weren't kidding.

The drive up to Cingjing Farm is not for the faint of heart, but the payoff is worth every hairpin turn. As you ascend, the air gets thinner and crisper, almost as if the mountains themselves are filtering out the mundane. And then, out of nowhere, a castle appears, perched precariously on the edge of a cliff. It's the kind of place that makes you question the sanity of its architect. The building stands defiantly against the backdrop of rolling hills, shrouded in mist and mystery. It's a scene straight out of a fairy tale, but with a distinctly Taiwanese twist. The road winds and curves, each turn revealing a new perspective, a new secret. If you're looking for a place to escape the ordinary, this is it. Just be prepared for the mountains to whisper their secrets to you as you venture higher and higher.
