Hello Kitty in Kenting, kenting

When Hello Kitty said she wanted to branch out, this isn't quite what she meant.

As I ventured deeper into the Kenting Forest Recreation Area, I came across this ancient tree that seemed to have more stories than a thousand-year-old library. Naturally, I had to introduce Hello Kitty to her new arboreal friend. Setting her up in front of the tree, I couldn't help but chuckle at the juxtaposition of modern whimsy against timeless nature. A couple of hikers passed by, giving me a thumbs-up, probably thinking I was some kind of artistic genius—or maybe just a weirdo with a plastic toy. Either way, I'll take it. The sunlight filtering through the leaves created a magical ambiance, making the whole scene feel like a moment frozen in time. As I packed up, I couldn't help but think about how even the oldest trees keep their secrets. Maybe that's the beauty of nature—it doesn't give away everything at once. You have to dig deeper, look closer, and sometimes, just let it be. But then again, maybe I'm just over-romanticizing a tree. Either way, Hello Kitty and I were ready to see what other secrets Kenting had to offer.
