Jim Corbett museum 10r have a couple houses where Jim and his sister lived
Cost only 10 Rupees, small but good value.

The taxi driver whoosh me into buying an expensive tour package, which is fine because I am rich.

The drive to Dhikala is long. Pass through many villages, saw many deer, monkeys.
Morning: Elephant ride, beautiful scenery.
A mystical savanna surrounded by morning mist. The boundary between a fairy tale and reality is blended into one.
Then a jeep safari. At the river bank, we saw tiger jumping at a deer.
The deers and us are both waiting for the tiger. But we are different. They want to escape from the tiger but we want to shoot them (with camera).
Dhikala is in front of the backdrop of vast savanna grassland.
I was grumpy. While the tiger had breakfast, I didn't. Plus my sleep last night was poor.
Slept a little, my mood is much better.
Walk to the watch tower with my guide.
The view was spectacular. Some occasional deer approach the water hole with extreme cautiousness.
2:30pm Another jeep safari Hunt for tiger but found nothing. Boring drive on the main road. Tiger never showed up at night. What a waste of time! Why the guides and tourists are are so obsessed of seeing tigers?
Dinner.
the dorm was crowded but I slept well. (experience told me to get two blankets which I did.)
Morning jeeps safari. Didn't see much animals besides deer. 3 hours.
Walk around the Dhikala campus a bit. Met an Indian family from Delhi. The aged gentlemen had been a government worker working in Chicago area.
11:00am checkout
Long drive out. Saw a fox and some crocodiles on the way.
Lunch at the tourist trap restaurant.
They are pretty nice people. Although keen on ripping me off, they did their best to help me catching the bus to Haridwar which is not really an easy task.
