From Dec 23 to Jan 2 is the Indian Xmas holidays. It is the worst time to visit Khana.
My visit fell unfortunately at the worst timing.
Because of the wrong timing, I ended up in the wrong place.
I have to beg for my jeep ride early in the morning. And of course, I didn't pick the right one.
I can guarantee you, this is a gaur... just a bit blury... well I moved too slow, even slower than a gaur
Night orientation movie: For some reason, the movie opened talking about mating elephants. The first fifteen minutes talked about how elephants copulated with each other. It is rather baffling but interesting.
30/12/04 7:46 am I was wondering why we drove so many miles without seeing a single wildlife, then I saw a whole army of jeeps, with all the kids making enough noise to scare away Ghengis Khan's horseman.
