The following explanation of the Jain Religion is explained to me by the fake sahdu: They are not very religious and basically just to make money. None of them care much about their religion. They are not supposed to allow tourists take photos of the statues (which probably caused me some bad luck that night). Every few steps, they ask for 10R. That is bad. It is all about money and not religion. It was said the Jain temple is for the rich people only. Well, that seems to apply to all temples in India (or maybe just the major tourist temples?)
The Jains, like the Hindus, tried to include everything in their religion. They have carving of all the Hindu gods on the pillars. And also carving for the Muslim gods, which in their description was an evil looking, head hunting, big baddy god. Well, at least that's how the so call sahdu explained to me.
