Endless Road in Silverton, Silverton
When your GPS says 'continue straight for 100 miles'!
Driving through Silverton on Wilangee Road felt like an endless journey into the heart of the Australian outback. The long, straight road stretched out before me, flanked by minimal vegetation and marked with white lines that seemed to draw my gaze toward the distant horizon. The surface was weathered and cracked—a testament to the harsh conditions it has endured over time. Small reflective posts lined either side of the road as if guiding me through this vast expanse of barren land. The flat landscape was dotted with sparse patches of greenery under a clear blue sky that transitioned to a lighter shade near the horizon. It was a drive that encapsulated the essence of solitude and endless possibilities.
