Emu in the Flinders Ranges, Blinman

When you realize you're the tallest one at the party!

Exploring the rugged terrain near Stokes Hill Lookout Rd in Willow Springs brought me face-to-face with one of Australia's iconic creatures—the emu. Standing tall with its slender body draped in shaggy brown and grey feathers, it moved gracefully through the arid landscape. Its long neck and legs gave it an air of curiosity as it surveyed its surroundings. The ground was a patchwork of dry grass and sparse vegetation, embodying the harsh beauty of the outback. The clear sky above added to the sense of vastness and solitude that defines this part of South Australia.
