When your backyard is more peaceful than your mind!

Adelaide continues to surprise with its hidden sanctuaries of peace. Today I found myself in a serene Japanese Zen garden nestled within Osmond Gardens near South Terrace. The meticulous raked gravel formed concentric circles around strategically placed rocks creating a harmonious and tranquil ambiance. Small patches of moss and grass added a touch of green amidst the white gravel. In the background stood a traditional Japanese wooden fence and a thatched-roof building which added to the authenticity of this peaceful setting. A prominent jacaranda tree with vibrant purple blossoms stood out against the lush greenery providing a splash of color to this meditative space. The sky was partly cloudy allowing soft sunlight to filter through and illuminate the garden enhancing its calm beauty. It was a moment where simplicity met profound tranquility inviting one to pause and reflect.
