Flinders Chase offers more than just natural beauty; it presents history standing tall against the horizon. Today I found myself at Cape Du Couedic Lighthouse on Kangaroo Island. This iconic structure with its cylindrical stone tower and red lantern room stood prominently against a backdrop of lush green vegetation. Painted in light beige with a contrasting red top crowned by a weather vane it was an architectural marvel. The clear blue sky with soft wispy clouds added texture to the scene while sunlight illuminated the lighthouse casting gentle shadows that highlighted its details. It was serene picturesque and a reminder of how history guides us through life's uncertainties.
