Tessellated Pavement at Eaglehawk Neck, Tasmania Park
When nature decides to play with Legos!
The Tessellated Pavement at Eaglehawk Neck is a marvel of nature's design. As I walked across this flat expanse of rock divided into regular rectangular blocks I was struck by its resemblance to a carefully tiled floor. Patches of green algae and moss covered these blocks adding vibrant hues to the scene. The wet surface reflected sunlight enhancing the colors and creating a mesmerizing effect. Gentle waves from the ocean lapped against the edge of the pavement forming white foam where they met. The deep blue sea stretched out to the horizon with distant cliffs and wooded areas along the coastline framing this picturesque view. Under a clear blue sky it was a moment of serene beauty that felt almost surreal.
