Rock Formations of Mount Wellington, Hobart

When nature builds its own skyscrapers!

Standing atop Mount Wellington today I was struck by the raw beauty of these ancient rock formations. Each boulder seemed meticulously placed by nature itself forming a precarious yet harmonious structure. Below lay Hobart cradled by rolling hills with the Derwent River shimmering under the afternoon sun. The clear skies allowed me to see far into the distance where mountains met the horizon. It’s moments like these that remind us of our fleeting existence against the backdrop of such timeless beauty. The rocks here bear silent witness to eons gone by offering a profound sense of connection to the earth's history.
