day 18 malatya
The most beautiful sunset of my trip. Layers and layers of the moutains. The statues had seen many years of sunset before, and they would see many many years after.
It perhaps was the biggest joke but it was a joke that last forever.
The cold morning blizzard was most ravage at dawn but it was shielded by my high tech clothing...
The statue that had watched many sunrise. The poor naked head of apollo had suffered two thousand years of cold morning and its suffering will continue forever.
The headless statues from left to right: the king, Commagene, Zeus, Apollo and Artemis? or queen? or someone else?
I can assure you they were sheep. It could be due to my long shutter exposure and a coincidental cosmic vortex that those sheep had some how evolved into forms similar to goats. This kind of phenomenon had been proved by quantum-biologists around the world. They called it momentary sheep-goat alteration.
