Cabins in the Woods, Leavenworth
When nature calls, it leaves a voicemail with views like these.
Leavenworth. Where the mountains are as majestic as my morning coffee and the cabins are more inviting than my inbox. I found myself standing on a lawn so meticulously groomed it could have been the backdrop for a golf tournament. But instead of golf carts and polo shirts, there were just trees, cabins, and the distant hum of nature doing its thing. The cabins perched on the slope looked like something out of a fairytale, the kind where the protagonist isn't being chased by a witch but rather enjoying a cup of tea while contemplating the meaning of life. The mountains in the background stood tall, like silent guardians, their peaks piercing the sky with an air of nonchalant grandeur. It's the kind of place that makes you wonder why we ever decided to live in cities, surrounded by concrete and chaos. Here, the only thing you have to worry about is whether or not you remembered to pack enough marshmallows for the campfire. As I stood there, basking in the sunlight, I couldn't help but feel a sense of peace wash over me. It's amazing what a bit of nature can do for the soul. And let's be honest, it's a much-needed break from the relentless scroll of social media and the never-ending barrage of emails. So here's to Leavenworth, a place where time slows down, and the only thing on your to-do list is to breathe in the fresh mountain air and maybe, just maybe, figure out the meaning of life.
