Metroid Prime is excellent in every significant way. Graphics, sound, level design, game play, everything about this game is about as good as it can be. This game offers everything the previous installments in the Metroid series offered plus much more. Anyone skeptical about Metroid's move into 3D need fear not, this game is true to the series and offers an even greater depth to the game not seen in earlier installments. I could gush with praise about every aspect Metroid Prime, but instead of reading my review you should be getting your own copy of it instead and experience it for yourself. The reader can go to IGN or Gamespot for in depth reviews of this game if they want a better idea of its excellence. This is an A+ game and any reviewer who doesn't say as much probably has a hang-up of some sort.

There are a few things about the game I could nitpick. I would have liked to see a free-look mode in the player controls, I found that the controls could be frustrating at times when battling monsters or when jumping through an environment. It could also become tiring battling the same monsters over and over after they respawn in the same areas, and the game calls for a lot of backtracking over the same areas as one gains new powers. But as I said, these are just nitpicks - Metroid Prime is a non-stop orgy of gaming goodness. If you like video games do yourself a favor and buy a copy, it is one Nintendo's greatest contributions to the genre.

i dont know about this game. it looked kewl but when i bought it and played it, i just hated it a little. it was pretty hard and when u play it's mostly dark so u cant see that well while ur playing the game. this game depends of what type of game u like. this is for those that like shooting.
