As you have heard from the reviews of the originals... the originals are REALLY good.. (the controllers) The controller in the starter kit is a bit bulkier than the original. It does not fit as comfortably as the original controller, but I have a small hand. Now, from other reviews, the original controller fits comfortably in anyone's hands, but the starter pack's controller just doesn't seem to feel right. It looks good, and it has interchangeable face plates.. apparently.. silver (or platinum), black, orange, and yellow. The chord is slightly longer than the original controller. It comes with an extension chord and a memory card... The memory card is 4 MB (59 blocks)
okay.. enough "facts" and describing it.. Based on my experiences with the starter pak's controller, the turbo button doesn't seem to work... and the buttons are slightly harder to press. Its not the position, because the position is fine.. you just kinda have to use a *little itty bitty* more force to push it down.. I've only had it for half a week.. and I used the original controller the most, so it hasn't broke down YET... It seems that these G-force (by Intec Inc.) controllers keep on breaking down
overall, the starter kit itself is not bad, its just the controller that is a little lumpy.. the extendable cord makes it a LOT longer, and it can be used on any controller, and the memory card helps, seeing that almost every gamecube game needs a memory card
If you're looking for a GREAT controller, this one might not be the one.. the originals work fabulously, but if you are looking for a good kit, this one isn't that bad
Gee, read the larger picture.
Rating: /5
Controller, extended cable, 4MB memory card. Looks like three interchangeable face plates
I agree
Rating: 2/5
I will have to agree with the above person. What is included in the kit Amazon?
