Grand Theft Auto 3 on the PC is a nearly direct port of the PS2 vesion. This doesnt make it any worse of a game, but of course it doesn't make it any better. People who have bought into the hype of the TV commercials and rave reviews may be initially let down. Minor hardware problems may show up even if your system meets the requirments. However, as the amazing world that is Liberty City slowly shines through the fog, even the games strongest critics will be blown away. As the nameless main character you may complete up to 73 missions within 3 gigantic sections that could be games of their own. The freedom to do whatever you want while you're not trying to survive the increasingly difficult storyline is what really makes GTA3 great. No game to date has allowed players to cause this much mayhem. The sound is perfect. Its truly a pleasure to find a game with such fantastic voice acting. The graphics may leave some wanting more. The detail is amazing but the textures are sometimes blocky. The display settings are adjustable and some tweaking may be needed based on personal preference. Overall GTA3 is truly an instant classic. The replay value is tremendous and the game is well worth its price.

The PS2 and PC comparison:
This game is better on the PC than it was on the Playstation 2. The reason this game is better on the PC than PS2 is because the PC version has better graphics, better draw distance, you can add MP3s, smoother frames per second, you can edit the game with GTA 3 mods and you can aim with the mouse (aiming with the mouse is like aiming in Max Payne or Mafia). On the PS2 version you had to press a button to aim at people and gamers who played the PS2 version saw this as a major problem. If you don't like aiming with the mouse than you can use the old aiming system that was on the PS2.

The Review:
In GTA 3 you have freedom. You can pick up woman, you can run over pedestrians, you can beat people and take their money, you can steal cars, you can go on cop missions, Taxi missions, Fire Fighter missions, ambulance missions, you can fly a plane, you can drive a boat, you can get the cops after you, you can get your money back by beating up the paid woman you paid, you can shoot at anybody, you can get the military after you and the FBI, you can do almost anything in GTA 3. This game is really fun! If you are a driving fan, or a action fan or a shooting fan this game is for you!...

I'm getting this game and some people say its for adults! NOT! From the other reviews I think this game is the BOMB! I'm also getting vice city. I"M playing vice city first. Go get this game on ebay. It's really cheap. I'm getting this game and vice city for only 10 bucks! The shipping and handling is $2.50. Thats really cheap compared to all the other shipping costs. Nice killing.
