Patch? Why? "I fired 20 rounds into an enemy's head and he was still coming." Supposedly there is a patch offered to correct the "unkillable" enemies. Well uh...try actually aiming instead of spraying. I've popped enemies dead in the head from across a canyon with the AK-47, one shot, one kill. Your sites are affected by your own realistic movement. There is no "easy" kill in this game. The game simply expects you to practice training your weapon properly. It has also been mentioned that team members are "stupid" and block your path during gameplay. I find that as long as you pay attention to where you're going, this is very avoidable. Don't walk down a dead end path for starters. 9 times out of 10 the door will be locked anyway. If your pointman doesn't want to continue until all other team members come closer together in the lineup (which they won't), just take point yourself. They WILL follow you and you can simply fall back in line once they advance to your position. Use your head and this game will not disappoint you. Oh, and lest I forget, you DO have a flashlight in the tunnels. Read the manual guys.

The efforts put into the jungle surroundings are the best I've seen yet. Play control is laid out nicely. Everything down to the recoil has attention paid to it. If a second version of this game comes out, it'll probably be satisfactory to everyone. All the "annoyances" would most likely get fixed. Watch out for the manufacturers of this title, they'll probably only get better from here on out.

Ever since I bought this game, my gaming ways changed dramatically. If you are looking for a realistic Vietnam War game, this is it. If you have ever seen the movie, "We Were Soldiers," it is very similar, except for the amount of soldiers. The graphics are very realistic. You can hardly tell the difference between real life objects. The weapon systematics are unbelievable. The look and the sound of the M-16 is unbelieveable. The M-60 is just like the one in the movies. Plus, you get the vietcong weapons of you choice. This game is also very realistic because, unlike those other war games where you go out by yourself and kill 100 guys, you are actually in a realistic enviroment where, if you go out by yourself, you will die. Throughout the game you are surrounded by 5 other trained soldiers. Don't miss out on this game! BUY IT NOW!!!!!!!

I enjoyed this game. Some missions were frustrating, but not half as much as some reviewers say-the tunnel missions in particular are not too long.
Some missions like defending the base from attackers are great fun, and while some characters are over the top the game manages to keep you going on for more. It is not too long either, a plus in my book.
