Alright for a short budget game, but overall lacking.
Rating: 2/5
Graphics: 4/5 This games graphics are overall pretty good. The levels look realistic and are mostly well designed, complete with largescale architecture and details like plants and furniture. Characters on the other hand are pretty bad looking, and lack detail and variety. The sky is also horrid looking and could have been done much better.
Gameplay: 2/5 While it can be fun to shoot hords of stupid enemies, they are just that... stupid. Enemy AI is some of the worst I've ever seen. Also, bosses have an inhuman resistance to gunfire. You can often fire hundreds of bullets at point-blank range into a supposedly human boss without them dying. Also, while the weapons are alright, there are only 3 of them. On the plus side, enemies take damage according to where you shoot them, and accuracy stats are displayed after each level.
Sounds: 3/5 Sounds are nothing spectacular, although they are fitting for the environments. Some more ambient sounds would have been nice, and I felt that the weapon sounds were a little weak. I felt that radio contact from base was done fairly well.
Replay: 1/5 The game itself is rather short, and if you choose to play through it a second time, it takes a lot less time to complete. The ending isn't very exciting, and a closing sequence would have been nice. Since there is no multiplayer or much variety between times you play it, there isn't really much to do once you've completed it.
Overall: 2/5 If you are bored and need something to play, give it a go. Some interesting environments might make it worth playing. However, other games provide better gameplay, and even more interesting environments than those seen here. I'll admit that I had an alright time playing this game, but overall, I just found many things lacking when compared to similar games.
