I think Microsoft made a wise choice creating Zoo Tycoon. You know your going to have fun by just looking at the box. You can build so much stuff like trees, Food shops, Restrooms and on and on and on but what I really like about the game is that you can change the terrain type in the exhibits and I also like the great selection of animals their are I would have never guessed they would have so many animals like Giant Panda's, Black Leopard's, Red Kangaroos, African Elephants and 45 other animals. Also one of the fun things about the game is that your animals can escape. For me that is the best thing Microsoft came up with in Zoo Tycoon.

With animals to take care of you also have to manage the biggest problem of all Your Guests! If animals are not happy then fewer people will want to come to your park and if your animals escape people will be to scared to come to your Zoo. And remember the bigger and nicer the zoo the more money and visitors you'll get.

So if your looking for something to do on a Saturday afternoon then get Zoo Tycoon you'll be guaranteed to have fun in no time.

I first started with regular Zoo Tycoon and recently upgraded to Zoo Tycoon Complete Collection. Lots of nifty new bells and whistles (I especially appreciate their Hide Foliage/Hide People options), cool marine/dino life, etc. It's even more addictive than the original.

However, some problems - not everything works as it should. The tutorial for Marine Mania has some glitches in it so that you never learn how to create dual terrain surfaces. Dino Mania will not allow you to add a scientist in the tutorial. Stuff like that. It's pretty annoying. With all the new stuff buried in this edition, it would have been nice to have a good walk-through. They do say in the "Read Me" section that everything might not work, but that's something you read *after* buying the thing. I figure you should know it before hand.

On the other hand, you can pretty much figure the stuff your yourself playing in freeform mode. It's loads of fun. I sit down to play for an hour or so, look at the clock, and whoops!, the day's gone.

Zoo Tycoon is an amazing game. You can build a zoo with some of your favorite animals such as, tigers, lions, and bears! You can also play senarios and do alot more! If you like going to zoos then why not manage a zoo? Your zoo could be one of the best zoos ever! Just be careful... dont let the animals loose or you will loose alot of guests and the zoo will go hectic! Good luck playin Zoo Tycoon! Remember: Do what you want!
