Finally, a good game to go along with the "Lord of the Rings" movies. In this game, you can be Gimli, Legolas, or Aragorn, and you fight your way through various scenes from the first two movies. Each character has his own unique fighting style, and each can earn experience and upgrades as you progress.

The graphics in this game are absolutely beautiful. The fighting is very realistic, and the characters are surprisingly detailed--no stiff-moving polygons here. There are many short clips from the movies. Overall, the appearance is very nice.

The gameplay is also great. Yes, 95% of this game is just punching the buttons and killing stuff. But it's fun. And there are many different combos your characters can learn which are actually kind of difficult to execute. You are rated with each kill based on your style and use of parries, thrusts, blocks, and combinations. It's easy to kill stuff, but very hard to do it elegantly and get the perfect score.

The downside to this game is that it's very short--you can beat it in one night. Still, though, even once you've passed the game you can go back with different characters and, when that's done, you can always try to improve your rating on each level. I've been through the game many times, and still I'm entertained.

If you've been looking for the perfect beat-'em-up fighting game, look no further. And, if you're a LOTR fan (like me) you won't be disappointed. Get this game. It's worth it.

People I know that you as well as I Loved the Lord Of the Rings movies and greatly anticipate the game. My problem is that the movie has nothing to do with the game except about the story line. Just because it started out as a great movie doesn't mean the outcome of the game will be just as good. You can play the game at various stations that are beginning to pop up around the country. If you own the dvd watch the game preiview on the special features disk. I attended this year's E3 game festival and got a first hand look at the game this is what I found out.

One ring to rule them all... Based on New Line Cinema's epic adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien's classic fantasy novels, The Lord of the Rings™, The Two Towers™ video games will integrate cinema and gameplay to deliver an epic interactive experience. In the game, players will be able to relive the most memorable movie moments from the first two films, "The Fellowship of the Ring" and "The Two Towers."

EA's first The Lord of the Rings action adventure game will allow players to take control of the motion picture trilogy's action heroes: Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, with other members of the Fellowship taking an active role during gameplay. In The Two Towers, players will battle a variety of Orcs and square off against vicious boss monsters including the Cave Troll and Saruman. A tactical gameplay system will encourage players to react quickly and be strategic with their selection of characters, weaponry and combat moves.

Middle Earth comes to life in spectacular detail. Set in over 16 mission locations, each environment will have a close visual correlation to that seen in the first two films. As a backdrop to the action, the game will feature Howard Shore's Academy Award-winning musical score.

Electronic Arts has secured the exclusive worldwide licensing rights to create games based on New Line's epic trilogy. The Two Towers will be the first in an ongoing series of The Lord of the Rings games. Future titles are currently in development and will be released on multiple platforms in 2003 and 2004.

I have not played this game but I am sure it will be fun. (ROTR Game ROCKS!!!) But do they make this for the PC?
