This game was pretty irritating at the beginning. The storyline tries to combine history and Yu-Gi-Oh! But it doesn't really go far. Fans of the card game or Eternal Duelist Soul will be surprised to find it's a lot different than any other games. You and your opponnet both have deck leaders, you can summon cards on the 8 spaces around you. Simple right, but that's where the game gets hard. It's a really small square. And the spaces are often occupied by walls that prevent you from moving. You have to move your creature to your opponnet's leader and if you attack him your monsters attack points are subtracted from your opponnet's. The Graphics are superb. And I don't really like Gran-Turismo's graphics. It's frustrating but if stick with it you'll find it's a pleasant twist from Duel Monsters.

Storyline 6/10
The story is about the War of Roses, but instead of killing people u get to fight with cards. In the beginning u get to choose between the white rose (Kaiba) and red rose (Yugi). From their u get the Rose cards. To me the
storyline is just blah, doesn't have enough excitement in it.

Gameplay 10/10

This is one of the best parts in the whole game, is how u play the game. It's not like the regular card game, its kinda like chess in a way, u can only have a certain amount of monsters on the field. U have a deck leader which is kinda like ur king, it doesn't have any Attack or Defense points instead u lose direct LP if they hit ur deck leader. Its a very unique kind of battle system that isn't in the other Yu-Gi-Oh! Games.

Graphics 7/10

The graphics aren't really anything special, there better then Forbidden memories graphics. There just ok for what they r.

Sound/Music 10/10

Also another nice part in the game. The music and sounds in the game very nice. The music played during the battles gets u pumped up and stuff. The sound that the monsters make when the attack is also fairly nice.

Replay Value 9/10
This game can be replayed a lot, cause there's always something u can do.

Overall 8/10
Its a good game, but EXTREMELY SHORT. U can beat this game in like 5 days or less.

This game sux & cost lots of bux! When this game was out bought it for 79.99 dollars! It's exactly like the card accept it has computers & graphics. Only losers play this game. I still cant believe I wasted 80 bux on this stupid game! I wrather buy Gran Turismo, Jak & Daxter & Metal Gear Solid for 69.99.
