They are:
1. Biggs- a 6'9" dude who is a master at dunks
2. Bonafide- a short, speedy dude who reminds me of Allen Iverson
3. Drake-the best 3-point shooter ever; he can make half court shots
4. DJ-a well-balanced player who can dunk and shoot the rock.
5. Takashi- a 7'8" Japanese guy who can block almost any shot.
6. Stretch- a tall guy who is the most well-rounded of the legends
There are 4 major gameplay modes in NBA Street:
1.City Circuit- You go all around the country playing b-ball to prove you are the best in the nation. You can get players for your custom team as well as legends, courts, and create-a-player points.
2.Hold the Court- You challenge a random group of NBA players as you try to break records of points and winning streaks in different courts. You get players, create-a-player points, create-a-player outfits, and cheats.
3.Street School- Joe "The Show" teaches you the basics of NBA Street. You get nothing from this.
4.Create-A-Player- You can make a player here. You choose how he/she looks and what they are good at.
There is a good variety of courts to play on ranging from courts in Canada to New York City. This game has arcade-style gameplay at its best with you trying to get a gamebreaker which is a shot with a cool special effect that minuses your opponents points by the number of points your shot is worth. Points go only as 1's or 2's in this game. Trust me, the commentary in this game is not as bad as some of the other reviewers say. It can get a little old, but it is a cool thing which further enhances the game.
Even if you don't really like the NBA, you can't go wrong with buying this game.
