If you've played the first NBA Street and are looking for a reason to get the second one, or if you're interested in what the game is about, I'll give you five reasons to get it(at least):

1) Wilt Chamberlin, Clyde Drexler, Dr. J., Magic, Bird, 'Nique, and a bunch of other old school ballers
2) 2nd level Gamebreakers, which switch to a cutscene showing the entire team getting in on the action
3) Special moves which allow kick passes and bounces off the guy's head
4) Be-A-Legend mode, which brings your created character from the bowels of scrubdom
5)Music and beats and announcing that's better than the first

There are a LOT more reasons to get this game, but these are some of the best ones. Suffice to say, if you enjoy NBA basketball, the And 1 commercials, and/or the first NBA Street, there should be no reason why you don't click and order this. It's probably the best playing bball game out there, and the entertainment/replay value is incredible.

I read the reviews on amazon for this game and then decided to purchase it. It was a good decision because it is very fun to play. I have played it a lot and i still find it not boring and addictive. it has many pros and cons

pros:
1. many nba legends to choose from and if you don't like to play as nba legends there is a full nba roster for 2003 and many created players
2. the graphics are amazing.
3. you can create a very detailed player
4. the gamebreakers are cool, and if you want to save up for an even stronger gamebreaker you can pocket the first one.
5. there are several ways to earn trick points such as dunks, shots, gamebreakers, steals, blocks etc...
6. be a legend mode is great and lets you take your created player and send him out to the streets to learn how to play good ball.
7. the game goes very deep

cons:

1. you can't pick up players in nba challenge mode
2. the game is either really easy or really hard
3. it's tough to get rebounds

as you can see the game is great and there are minor flaws
you will love this game if you like basketball and if you don't like basketball you will probably like the game

so go buy it, you'll enjoy it.

Sure, the graphics and gameplay in NBA Street Vol. 2 are good, but you'll play this game maybe a week before it ends up gather dust in your collection. There really is no replay value to it. As the game is only $20, I wouldn't call it a waste of money. Mark my words, however, you'll quickly tire of this title.
