If you are a fan of Alias you will love this game. It is a lot of fun, and plays as if you are in the show. Graphics are fantastic. With the exception of two characters, they all look like their tv counterpart.

A few problems:

When the characters talk it looks a bit strange. Would have looked better if the lips stayed still.

The controls/movement are a bit awkward. Especially when fighting, and the controls don't seem logical at times.

Still a lot of fun to play. I am on the second mission. Not to hard and not too easy so far.

The late-night action show Alias is part espionage drama, part soap opera. The svelte American operative, Sydney Bristow, follows in her father's footsteps, fighting international terror while becoming embroiled in implausible romantic trysts.

Made in close co-operation with the creators of the series, the Alias game sets out to be a window into the new world order of spy television.

The original actors revisit their roles, with Jennifer Garner supplying the voice of Sydney. The player controls her from an ample third-person view in which she is always large enough on screen to show off her elaborate costumes. Changing between ensembles is an integral part of play.

Sydney must assume different roles to infiltrate top-secret locations around the globe. Or, if one feels pugilistic, she can dispose of wandering guards with elaborate attack combos.

Sydney also comes with a range of gadgets for hacking into security cameras and for eavesdropping.
This game is clearly geared towards casual fans of the show and even borrows some of its storytelling techniques. Often the screen will split into multiple frames to highlight important incidents in different areas.

While the graphics are adequate, they are something of a let-down.
Character movements seem forced and unnatural. Combined with fixed facial expressions, it makes everyone look like humanoid robots. Some of the puzzles are arbitrarily difficult, but otherwise the game is quite easy to play.

Endgame: (...) Fans will get the most out of this authentic but limited adaptation.

I bought this game because I'm a huge fan of the show and I usually like games in this genre (007, Buffy). However, I found this game to be very annoying (and not because it was too hard). The controls are a joke. Instead of having one button be punch and another be kick, they are divided into special attacks and quick attacks. I found that I could press the buttons a certain way when fighting and get killed, then I could do the exact same sequence and barely get hit. The moves are totally random! I'm usually the kind of person who has to finish the game before selling it back, but this one irritated me so much that I couldn't wait to get rid of it! As for the look of the game, it's alright. Nothing spectacular. They do a good job of making the characters look like the actors (except for Jennifer Garner!) Another plus is that the real actors do the voices, instead of having someone else impersonate them badly (I'm talking to you Buffy!). I wouldn't recommend this game at all.
