military and espionage

First of all, I gave this game five stars to "balance" the reviews among "positive" gamers who don't use the rating system in their reviews(hope you don't mind). To me, it's a 4-star game, and quite an impressive entry for an unknown title and developer, even if the game seems a little rushed in its development and storyline. This game has such wonderful cheesiness, it's like a 1990's straight-to-VHS action adventure which makes it worth every penny of its Van Damme price.
What really impresses me is the way that Kemco did their homework to create a game that adapted the best aspects of a Metal Gear adventure with a Lara Croft-ish character and Tenchu stealth attacks. In fact, I was so disappointed with PS2's TR:Angel of Darkness, I had to give this game a try and loved every stealth-kill moment and outsmarting every trap(Of course, resetting the game always helps). Yes, it's sometimes frustrating, but at least you can replay missions and become a death-bit*h from hell on your victims, and still feel good about being a man.
This game could have been a sub-chapter in the Lara Croft's saga, but it's better leaving Nikki Conners on her own so she can deal some unique wood choppin' spine splits, and then tell James Bond that a true Englishman always prefers Gin in his Martini.

This game to me: was like a football game the first quarter zzblahzz....quirky control,subpar graphics, However the remaing 3 quarters I was impressed graphics improved, and it became more fun. Splinter Cell is my favorite alltime game. This game filled a void for my Splinter CELL fix. But then again Splinter cell is 10 stars for me, so having said that (rogue ops) if it had a another year of tweaking ,it could of been a stellar 5 star game. I think alot of reviewers got frustrated maybe too hard during the boring learning curve in first quarter then gave up. but it was easy and fun $20.00 game.The flying bug cam is kinda kool ,like the biomod from dues ex inv war.

I wanted to like this game.... I really did. I played it through, and it is now in the trash, as I would not even want to pawn this on a used buyer.

If you like games where you spend hours just getting by a silly puzzle (i.e. turning the analog thumb control various directions within a absurdly short time limit just to get inside a door).

The game possessed its fun moments, but they were far and few between, with the vast majority of time being spent repeating controller button combinations over and over again, combined with starting the level over and over again.....

By the end of the game, I was truly relieved it was over; and in this regard, the joy of destroying the disk was of much greater enjoyment than was laying the game. Indeed, I've been gaming for 15 years and this is the first time I've ever judged a game as so bad that it deserve the expense of a trashing.

The AI is absurd as well. At times, you get detected when it clear you are hidden, then at other times, you're right next to a guard -- face to face -- and he doesn't even notice.

Buyers beware, this is certainly NOT a "Splinter Cell", or anything even close. This is a true abomination of a game, that I literally prefer ANYTHING to. Indeed, I never thought it possible to actually hate a game, but this game is unique in this regard.
