What the game has going for it is randomness. You won't get bored exploring the dungeon, because it's always different. The item chests are all random, so you could get stuck with bad equipment, or get lucky and find something cool.
There's also some strategy to the game. You get to make up a party of up to five characters, and you get to pick the class for each of them. (You can also pick a face type, and alter the body shape, but these features are kinda a joke.) There are also five other "hidden" classes you can change to part way through the game.
One cool thing is when your party dies their bodies are put into a cyrogenic morgue thing, and you have to start a new party to retrieve them. Only problem is it's to easy to just load your game. Just be sure to save often.
Bottom line: this game has it's good points... but they don't out weigh the bad ones. Probably the only people who'd like this game are those who play Diablo II for hours and hours, just trying to find items and make characters.
