This light gun is a good bargain. Also, it looks pretty cool too. The gun is mostly black, with the buttons, trigger, and trimming in the XBOX green colors. The gun works great for House of the Dead, and Starsky and Hutch (haven't tried it for Silent Scope Yet). I'm not sure if this works on a rear-projection TV or a High Definition TV, but most CRT screens that aren't HD, will probably do great with this gun.

Positives

• Light weight
• overall appearance of the gun is good.
• Reload button is on the butt of the handle, so reloading makes you feel like you're putting a clip in the gun.
• Gun features a D=pad on the back(where the hammer would be), select, start, X, Y, A, & B buttons.
• Gun features 3 different modes, including auto reload.
• Gun has a the standard break-away cord, like your standard issued XBOX controller. Benefits of this: When your buddy walks in front of the TV and trips up on your cord, the cable will detatch and NOT yank your console to the ground and/or yank the gun out of your hand, smashing it on the floor.
• The cable is also a good length, and since it is a breakaway cord, it is probably compatible with the controller extension cables... However, I'm not sure how effective this gun will be, sitting across the room.

NEGATIVES

• Might be too light. I'm afraid to drop it, because it feels like it is very fragile.
• Force Feedback is a little weak, and doesn't add much to the experience, but it is there, which is better than nothing at all.
Overall, a good gun for the price. If you know where to look, you can get one brand new for a good price. :) I got mine for $12.95 + shipping. Happy Hunting!

I really wanted a light gun game for XBOX. I searched and looked at a ton of light guns including the mad catz. Most people said that they were unresponsive and didn't work. Then I saw this gun...it looked cool and sounded like it was good, so I got it. I'm glad I got this gun! It works perfectly on XBOX, with B button on the bottom and side, a control pad on the back, and Start, back, X, and Y on it. It responds well and is durable. The only problem that I have had, and it has only happend once, is that if you play for a very long period of time, the trigger will just stop working, you'll press it and it doesn't register with the game. Like I said, this only has happened once, and I was playing for a long time. If you want an XBOX light gun game (right now only House of the Dead 3, and I'm pretty sure Virtua Cop 3 soon)and you need a gun to go with it, then I would reccomend this one!
