2 Phono plugs: Audio L / R <==> Stereo mini plug, 1.5m
Rating: 1/5 from 1 reviews
Expensive, but serves its purpose for the Logitech Z-680.
Rating: 1/5
I was lucky to get three (3 sets) of these cables just recently from Amazon with free shipping. I needed three sets to connect to my Logitech Z-680 THX-certified speakers. The speakers come with its own mini stero plugs to connect to your PC sound card. However, if you need to connect your DTS/Dolby Digital DVD Player to speakers that only accept mini stereo, then you will need something like this. I was wishing for the Monster RCA to mini stereo cables, but I don't need the expensive cables they offer because I'm only connecting it to cheap speakers. I will not scrimp on cables if I connect it to my JBL THX Home Theater. But for simple small installations, decent-priced cables will do. I will, however, never spend on Radioshack-type of cables. Who knows the quality those went thru.
If you only need one cable and you can't afford the expensive ones by Monster then I strongly suggest to get the Monster THX i-mini8 cables which are the same price as these cheap Sony cables but have the best construction, are very thick, and are THX-certified.
These Sony cables are so thin and poor for the same price as Monster's that you are clearly being cheated by Sony. All the profits are going to the Sony name and none on the cable build. And don't get me started on customer-service. I've had so many Sony products that I quit buying them. Japanese products such as Pioneer and Korean products as Samsung are the way to go if you're looking for great performance at a reasonable price. Sony is just way to overblown for the consumer segment. They were once great with their Walkman and Sony Trinitron technology. But these products are not needed as we have the iPod and LCD and DLP monitors.
Anyway, get this product if you need to get more than one that two or more sets of the Monster THX cables can't fit side by side. This still beats cheaper-branded cables. Otherwise, look elsewhere. Seriously.
