I wonder if all the top leaders of the Democratic Party and the Senate are all giving out orders to give 1 star reviews to every single right-wing book. Look at the average number of stars on Left-wing books and then look at right-wing books. Maybe the amount of liberals outnumbers conservatives on this site but it seems to me they're a mission to give 1 star reviews to EVERY conservative book out there. Being the supposed party of "tolerance" look at the names liberals give Republicans and Conservative. Well, I guess if you're in the majority then tolerance no longer applies to you. I commend Dick Morris for revealing Hilary's reign of terror whether it's piggy-backing her "hubby" Bill or using New York to get further. If anyone wants the truth (or for what most of us know as the truth) read "Re-Writing History." By the way love the cover!

Other reviewers are right when they state that repetition was probably necessary to make this one long enough for a book, but the information within is eye-opening. Morris, having worked side by side with both Bill and Hillary Clinton for nearly 20 years, refutes much of the feel-good, carefully-packaged persona that Hillary put forth in "Living History," and while he describes her as a strong manager, planner and idealist, he also cites numerous examples of greed, manipulation, secrecy and revenge which have dogged both Clintons over the years.

Like Barbara Olson did in "Hell To Pay" and "The Final Days," Morris spotlights not only the various scandals but recounts private strategy sessions dating back to when Bill Clinton made his first run for the governorship of Arkansas, and he describes Hillary's eventual understanding that if she wanted to get ahead in politics, it would be necessary to ride her husband's coattails. Morris's final chapter describes why he thinks Hillary has a good shot at being elected president of the USA in 2008, and why she might well be added as vice-president in 2004. Ultimately, while not quite as hard-hitting as "Off With Their Heads," "Rewriting History" is a cut above most current political books because of the author's proximity to his subject. If nothing else, read it if you've recently read "Living History" and decide whose accounts you believe.

Dick Morris, after "Off With Their Heads", follows up with this great book about Hillary Rodham Clinton. Morris carefully explains the emergence of the "Hillary Brand", in which the former First Lady is undergoing a transformation before our very eyes, preparing for a run at the Presidency. Morris warns that Hillary wears a mask, and what you will hear from her is not what you will get. Deep down, she is the same old Hillary. Morris worked with the Clintons for 2 decades and no one knows their shrewd political plans better than Morris. I found the portion regarding Morris helping Bill in his Arkansas governor races particularly interesting, as that is when he first came to understand what drives Bill and Hillary Clinton. Everyone should read this before 2008!
