Visiting Kaohsiung is always a treat, especially when you stumble upon quirky scenes like this. Right near the city's highest building, I found these two larger-than-life inflatable mascots. The bird, with its oversized bow tie, looked like it was ready for a night out, while the monkey seemed to be channeling some serious handyman vibes with its overalls and cap. The whole setup was illuminated from within, making them glow against the night sky. It’s these unexpected moments that make wandering the streets of Taiwan so delightful. Just when you think you've seen it all, you find yourself face-to-face with a giant, glowing bird and monkey duo. And yes, there's a massive red sculpture behind them, because why not?
