Maoli Old Train, cutes
'When your train is late but you're too cute to be mad at!'
In the quaint surroundings of Maoli Old Train Station in Sanyi Township, I found myself face-to-face with an endearing sculpture of a train conductor. With his round face and large eyes peering from beneath a blue cap, he stood proudly beside a small black locomotive marked 'CK168.' This little piece of whimsy held up a blue sign with Chinese characters that seemed to invite travelers to pause and appreciate the moment. The backdrop was equally charming—a cozy open-air café adorned with floral patterns and hanging lights. It was as if time had slowed down here, allowing one to savor the simple joys of life. This place wasn't just about trains; it was about the stories they carried and the smiles they brought to those who stopped to notice. As I stood there, I couldn't help but think that in the grand journey of life, it's often the smallest stations that leave the biggest impressions.
