As I wandered along the shores of Menindee Lake, I stumbled upon a solitary tree standing defiantly in the water. Its tall trunk and sparse green foliage created a captivating contrast against the clear blue sky. The roots were partially submerged, hinting at the lake's high water level. The tree's reflection on the calm surface of the lake added to the serene atmosphere. In the distance, dead trees extended towards the horizon, emphasizing the vastness of this stark yet beautiful landscape. This solitary tree stood as a testament to nature's resilience and strength in isolation.
