When you're ready for takeoff but forgot your flight plan!

The sight of a solitary seagull on the shore at Binalong Bay struck me as a moment of pure tranquility. With its wings slightly spread as if contemplating flight the bird stood against the backdrop of smooth wet sand and gentle waves rolling in. The greenish-blue water contrasted beautifully with the white foam while the expansive ocean stretched out under a cloudy sky. Despite the muted colors due to overcast weather there was an undeniable serenity in this scene. It was as if time had paused allowing me to reflect on the simple yet profound beauty of nature.
