Oystercatcher on the Shoreline, Bay of Fire

When you have the entire beach to yourself but still need to strut your stuff!

The sight of a solitary oystercatcher walking along the wet sandy shore of Binalong Bay was a moment of pure tranquility. Its striking black and white plumage contrasted beautifully with its bright red beak and legs. The bird seemed completely at ease as it strolled along the smooth reflective sand occasionally pecking at small patches of seaweed. The gentle waves rolled in creating a soothing background noise while the overcast sky muted the colors of the scene. There was something profoundly peaceful about watching this lone bird navigate its coastal domain reminding me of nature's quiet resilience and beauty even on a cloudy day.
