Exploring the Southern Branch of the National Palace Museum in Chiayi can work up quite an appetite, and luckily, the museum's restaurant does not disappoint. I found myself seated at a wooden table, eagerly anticipating my lunch. The meal was a visual feast – a perfectly arranged plate of rice topped with black sesame seeds, surrounded by a rich stew of meat, mushrooms, and vegetables. Baby corn, broccoli, and carrots added a splash of color and nutrition.
