When nature builds its own highway.

Standing at The Neck Lookout on Bruny Island feels like being at the junction of two worlds. The narrow isthmus below connects the island's northern and southern parts with golden sands kissed by turquoise waves on either side. To my left, ocean waves crash rhythmically onto the shore while to my right, calmer waters stretch out peacefully. A wooden boardwalk winds through lush vegetation along the isthmus and leads to this very viewpoint. It's humbling to see how nature can create such perfect harmony between land and sea. The distant forested hills and mountains add depth to this breathtaking panorama.
