Precarious Rock Formation at Fluted Cape, Bruny Island

When even rocks know how to live on the edge.

As I navigated the rugged terrain of Fluted Cape on Bruny Island, I stumbled upon a striking sight: a massive boulder perched precariously on the edge of a cliff. Its weathered surface was adorned with patches of lichen and moss, testament to the passage of time. Surrounding this natural marvel were native plants with gnarled branches that seemed to defy gravity. Below, the steep cliff face was interspersed with greenery clinging to every crevice. In the background, the serene blue waters of Adventure Bay peeked through the dense foliage. The late afternoon sun cast a warm glow over everything, highlighting the textures and colors of this wild landscape.
