In the heart of Tasmania's wilderness lies the Devils at Cradle sanctuary, a haven for the enigmatic Tasmanian Devil. Today I encountered one such devil standing beside a weathered wooden log. Its black fur contrasted with patches of white stood out against the lush greenery that enveloped us. The creature's pink nose twitched as it looked directly at me with its mouth slightly open, revealing sharp teeth.
