Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre, Cradle Devil
When your visitor centre looks like it belongs in a sci-fi movie.
Standing before the Cradle Mountain Visitor Centre felt like stepping into a scene from a futuristic film. The sleek, angular design of the building with its dark grey panels and sharp lines was striking against the backdrop of dense trees and an overcast sky. The sign proudly declared 'Visitor Centre' underlined by 'Tasmania Parks & Wildlife Service,' welcoming all who arrived. I walked along the gravel path leading to the entrance, passing by landscaped areas filled with vibrant green plants and shrubs nestled in beds of white and brown rocks. To my right, a large wall adorned with a world map caught my eye—an educational touch that added depth to this architectural marvel. It was clear that this place was not just an entry point but a celebration of nature's beauty and human ingenuity.
