Possum on Wooden Beam in Cradle Mountain, Cradle Devil

When you're caught in the act of being adorable.

While exploring the rustic structures at Cradle Mountain late in the evening, I stumbled upon an unexpected visitor—a possum perched on a wooden beam. Its grey fur contrasted beautifully with the weathered wood as it clung tightly with its sharp claws. The pink nose and wide eyes gave it an endearing look as it stared directly at me. The corrugated metal roof above and the surrounding beams added a touch of rugged charm to this encounter. It was a delightful reminder of the rich wildlife that thrives in Tasmania's natural landscapes.
