Children Exploring Stone and Metal Sculpture, Spokane

When you find the hidden treasure, but your friend is already riding the guardian bird!

I found myself in a whimsical corner of Spokane where art and nature coalesce in the most unexpected ways. Just a stone's throw from the Looff Carrousel, I stumbled upon an outdoor sculpture installation that seemed like a playground for both kids and the imagination. Large stone blocks formed a rugged, natural amphitheater, and nestled among them was a quirky metal sculpture that looked like it had sprung to life from a child's drawing. One kid, dressed in a bright red outfit, was engrossed in some serious ground inspection, while another was perched atop the metal creature, claiming it as their noble steed. The scene was a delightful blend of innocence and creativity, a reminder that sometimes, the simplest moments are the most profound. Spokane continues to surprise me with its seamless blend of urban charm and natural beauty, making every corner a new adventure waiting to be discovered.
