Misty and Snowy Landscape at Cradle Mountain, Cradle Wombat

When nature decides to put a filter on everything.

Navigating through Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park today felt like stepping into another world. The path was lined with dense shrubs and small trees, each leaf kissed by a light dusting of snow. A dark lake lay still in the middle ground, reflecting the muted colors of the overcast sky. Beyond it rose the rugged slopes of Cradle Mountain, partially hidden by a thick veil of mist. Each step I took was accompanied by the soft crunch of snow underfoot and the distant whisper of nature's secrets carried on the cold breeze.
