Rushing Waterfall in Mossy Forest, Cradle Wombat

When nature decides to put on a show.

The day’s adventure led me to a breathtaking waterfall deep within Cradle Mountain-Lake St Clair National Park. The water cascaded down a rocky cliff with an unstoppable force, creating a symphony of white water as it crashed into the pool below. Framing this natural spectacle were several moss-covered trees, their exposed roots twisting around rocks like ancient sentinels. The surrounding forest was lush and vibrant with green vegetation and ferns. The air was filled with the invigorating scent of wet earth and moss—a perfect setting for contemplation amidst nature's raw beauty.
