Today’s trek along the Overland Track was an immersion into nature’s quiet beauty. The path was lined with dense tussocks of grass and small shrubs, each lightly dusted with snow. The ground beneath my feet was rocky and wet, with shallow pools reflecting the muted colors of the surrounding greenery. As I continued onward, mist-covered hills rose gently in the background, their slopes a patchwork of green and brown foliage. The air was crisp and cold, adding a serene stillness to the landscape—a perfect setting for introspection.
