When nature decides to flex its scenic muscles, you just stand there in awe... and maybe take a selfie.

As I continued my journey along the east coast of Taiwan, I stumbled upon a hidden gem that seemed to encapsulate the raw beauty of this region. The black sand beach, a stark contrast to the usual golden hues, stretched out before me like a dark ribbon, kissed by the gentle waves of the Pacific. The lush greenery that bordered the beach added a touch of life and vibrancy to the otherwise somber palette. And then there were the flowers – vibrant red blooms that seemed almost defiant against the backdrop of green and grey.

The overcast sky, with its thick, brooding clouds, cast a soft, diffused light over the scene, making the colors pop in a way that was almost surreal. It was the kind of place that made you want to stop and just breathe it all in, to let the beauty of nature wash over you and cleanse your soul of the city's grime and noise.

Here, amidst the raw beauty of nature, one can truly appreciate the simple things in life.

And so, with a sense of reverence and curiosity, I continued my exploration of Taiwan’s east coast, eager to uncover more of its secrets. Each turn of the road promised new vistas and deeper reflections, making me question the sanity of city living and the constant hustle and bustle.
