Dulan Moonlight Cafe, east coast
When your dress has a better view than you do.
After leaving the art installation at the Dulan Sugar Factory, I found myself drawn to the inviting warmth of the Dulan Moonlight Cafe. Stepping inside felt like walking into a nostalgic dream. The wooden desk by the window, with its sheer curtain swaying gently in the breeze, seemed to beckon me to sit down and pen my thoughts. The vintage cabinet with its glass doors held a peach-colored dress, hanging as if waiting for its owner to return from a bygone era. It’s funny how a simple piece of clothing can evoke such a sense of history and longing. The shoe rack, with its neatly arranged footwear, added a touch of everyday life to the scene. It’s moments like these that make you appreciate the beauty in the mundane. As I stood there, taking in the cozy atmosphere, I couldn't help but feel a sense of calm and contentment. Here, amidst the rustic charm of the cafe, the hustle and bustle of city life seemed like a distant memory. With a sense of reverence and curiosity, I continued my exploration of Taiwan's east coast, eager to uncover more of its hidden gems.
