Pied Stilt Wading in Water, Cleland

When your reflection is your best friend!

Cleland Wildlife Park remains an oasis of tranquility amidst nature’s splendor. Today I observed a Pied Stilt wading gracefully in shallow water. Its long red legs created delicate ripples as it moved. The bird’s white plumage contrasted beautifully with the black on its back and wings. A distinctive black cap adorned its head while its thin black beak pointed downward in search of food. The perfect reflection of the stilt in the calm water added an element of symmetry to the scene. Behind it was a blurred mix of green foliage and a fallen tree branch suggesting a natural wetland habitat. Sunlight illuminated the bird highlighting its vibrant colors and intricate details. It was a serene moment capturing the essence of nature’s quiet beauty.
