Historic Red-Brick Building Under Clear Blue Sky, Cleland

When your house has more character than you!

Adelaide’s architectural heritage never fails to impress. Today I found myself gazing at a historic red-brick building near Goodman Building. The structure stood tall with its multiple levels and gabled roofs adorned with cream-colored trim that highlighted its intricate details. Rectangular windows with louvered shutters added a vintage charm to the facade while a tall slender chimney painted in matching cream ran along its side. The roof had a slight overhang with visible rafters covered in traditional shingles. Above all this was a clear deep blue sky providing a stark contrast to the rich red bricks and cream accents. Sunlight cast sharp shadows on the facade emphasizing the texture and craftsmanship of each brick. It was a moment where history stood still revealing stories etched in every corner.
