Side Profile of a Plumed Whistling Duck, Cleland

When you’re trying to look majestic but end up looking adorable!

Cleland Wildlife Park continues to be a sanctuary of natural beauty. Today I observed a Plumed Whistling Duck standing gracefully amidst the greenery. Its intricate plumage caught my eye immediately—the brown feathers with lighter beige and darker brown streaks were a sight to behold. The long plumes extending from its flanks added an element of elegance. The duck’s pink beak with a dark tip and its expressive dark eyes gave it an air of curiosity. Behind it was a blur of green foliage providing a natural and serene setting. Sunlight illuminated the duck’s feathers highlighting their vibrant colors and intricate details. It was a serene moment capturing the essence of nature’s quiet beauty.
