Tamsui Waterfront (淡水河岸) is a place where families come to find a moment of peace amidst the rush of daily life. Today, I observed a family taking a leisurely stroll by the water's edge. The adults were deep in conversation as they pushed a stroller along the path. Behind them stood a magnificent tree with branches that seemed to weave stories of their own. To the right of this natural marvel was an old-fashioned street lamp that added a touch of nostalgia to the scene. The river flowed gently in the background, with mountains standing guard in the distance under an overcast sky. It’s moments like these that remind us of the simple joys of life—a walk by the water, surrounded by nature and loved ones. Even in its quietude, Tamsui offers a profound sense of connection and tranquility.
